WATCH: Dinsmore's Michael Ferrara Appears in CNBC and National Geographic Documentaries about Capture of Mexican Former Drug Lord El Chapo
Dinsmore partner Michael Ferrara has been recently featured in two televised documentary series discussing the capture of Mexican former drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera. Ferrara is the former supervisor of the Chicago-based international crime strikeforce for the U.S. Department of Justice that prosecuted Pedro and Margarito Flores of the Sinaloa Cartel, whose collective cooperation was a central component of the capture and prosecution of El Chapo.
Earlier this week, Ferrara appeared on the season premiere of CNBC's "American Greed," entitled "Inside El Chapo's Empire," where he discussed how the Flores twins earned El Chapo's trust and then helped put him in prison for life. Watch the first ten minutes below and more clips from the episode here.
This follows Ferrara's appearance last year in the National Geographic series "Narco Wars." He consulted on the entire first season, and he is principally featured in episode nine, which can be viewed in full for free here.
Since joining Dinsmore in 2017, Ferrara has continued to lead large and complex investigations for corporate clients throughout the country and around the world, including with respect to issues involving the False Claims Act and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. He is also a leader among Dinsmore’s white-collar and government investigations defense attorneys.
