Tamara’s practice focuses on intellectual property prosecution in the area of trademarks and related matters, such as, licensing, domain names and unfair competition. Her primary work consists of assisting clients in all trademark proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, including trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, oppositions and cancellations. In addition, she implements and manages all aspects of international trademark prosecution, including developing and maintaining trademark portfolios for multinational corporations and midsize companies and assisting her client’s in implementing international filing strategies.

Clients continue to benefit from Tamara’s exceptionally deep experience. With more than 16 years of practice as a trademark attorney, Tamara collectively has over 20 years of intellectual property law experience from her work as a business professional in the trademark field and in other capacities prior to becoming a licensed attorney. This range of experience has provided Tamara with unique understanding and insight into how client in-house teams operate and how to more effectively counsel her clients on all aspects of U.S. and international trademark law from basic administrative matters to complex trademark matters. Her experience includes the training and managing of administrative assistants, paralegals, and associates, which Tamara also leverages to lead and manage attorney teams. She has substantial experience working collaboratively with client in-house counsel in the U.S. and among international subsidiaries, and Tamara manages foreign counsel in several countries and regions including Europe, China, India, Canada, Central and South America.

In her free time, Tamara chases her three children around, coaches youth soccer and leads a youth chess club of more than 60 students.
