Biography
Sumner is a member of our tort division and focuses his practice on commercial litigation matters surrounding insurance coverage opinions, bad faith litigation, and investigations pertaining to insurance arson and fraud. He has a breadth of industry knowledge and is trusted intrinsically by his clients. Sumner represents insurance companies directly and has extensive litigation experience trying matters to both judges and juries.
Along with his commercial litigation experience, Sumner has an extensive background in the areas of worker’s compensation defense and toxic tort litigation defense. He prides himself on understanding his clients’ needs and how best to minimize potential liabilities throughout the clients' operations. He is an AV rated attorney by Martindale Hubbell.
