Sarah M. Houseman

Biography

With a proven track record of success both in and out of the courtroom, Sarah’s practice focuses on civil litigation, where she has built extensive knowledge on a variety of complex issues. Sarah routinely advises her clients on issues involving premises liability defense, professional malpractice, real estate disputes, commercial and residential landlord tenant matters, consumer sales practices act defense, wrongful death, dram shop claims, real estate, property, contract, business, and commercial disputes, and more. She takes great pride in advising clients in pre-litigation matters where her experience, skill, and eye for detail routinely keep her clients out of court, saving them valuable time, expense, resources, and unnecessary stress.

In her litigation practice, Sarah has represented Fortune 500 corporations, regional businesses, individuals, and organizations of all sizes. In all cases, she approaches every client with the same level of dedication, tenacity, and attention to detail. No issue is too big; no client is too small.

Clients often ask for Sarah’s guidance and involvement before damaging lawsuits have a chance to arise. She takes time to understand her client’s interests and objectives and provide informed, preventive strategies so both individuals and businesses alike can identify and resolve potential issues in advance to minimize the risk of litigation. As a result of her guidance, her clients receive tailored legal strategies that align with their goals, ensuring them both effective representation and insightful, direct solutions. Sarah is no stranger to a challenge and is focused on delivering her clients one thing: cost-efficient results.

While Sarah approaches each matter that comes to her with an eye towards efficient resolution, she is no stranger to the courtroom. A natural-born storyteller, Sarah particularly enjoys getting to know her clients on a personal and professional level so that she can more effectively and persuasively communicate each client’s unique story. Many times, first impressions can oftentimes be the ultimate dictator of the outcome in any dispute. When the stakes are high, that is when having a trusted attorney on your side like Sarah who is experienced and fully prepared to advocate on your behalf tends to be the ultimate difference-maker.

As a respected and trusted community leader, she recognizes the importance of giving back. Sarah is a lifelong member and ordained Elder at Lakeside Presbyterian Church, and currently serves as the Legal Advisor to the Junior League of Cincinnati Board of Directors, and the Secretary for the Emergency Shelter of Northern Kentucky. However, her most rewarding position yet is serving as the head coach of her niece’s recreational soccer team, the Orange Tiger Rainbow Stars.

Outside of her personal and professional endeavors, Sarah is a sports fanatic. She is a Bengals season-ticket holder, lifelong Reds fan, and, as a graduate of the University of Kentucky, a proud member of Big Blue Nation. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, golfing, and walking her dog, Sawyer.
