Dinsmore Public Finance Partner Lewis Diaz Joins Top Economic Development Group Board
Dinsmore & Shohl LLP partner Lewis Diaz has been appointed to the Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation (Tri-ED) Board of Directors by the Boone County Fiscal Court.
The Tri-ED board has 23 members comprised of business and community leaders from Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties and serves as the primary economic development company for Northern Kentucky, providing marketing, business retention and expansion services for new and existing businesses.
“At Dinsmore, we fuel economic growth for businesses by finding solutions to complex problems, and Tri-ED does many of the same things within Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties, making this a natural fit for me. I look forward to working with and supporting Lee Crume as we continue to grow our local economy,” said Diaz, who practices from the firms Covington office.
Tri-ED, named a top-20 economic development group in the United States by Site Selection magazine, has successfully relocated and/or expanded efforts for more than 700 business projects and 69,000 primary-industry jobs since its inception
“The legal and public finance expertise and leadership skills Lewis brings to the board make him an asset to Tri-ED. We’re excited to have him join the board,” said Boone County Judge/Executive Gary Moore.
Diaz is a member of Dinsmore’s nationally ranked public finance group, which closed 243 financings totaling $5.94 billion in 2020. Active in the community, Diaz serves as the vice chair of the board of the Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission and chair of the Board of Regents of Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond.
