Dinsmore’s Nick Transier Co-Authors IPO Whitepaper on AI Patenting

While Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not a new technology, its latest incarnations, such as “ChatGPT,” have received significant attention and interest in the last few years. Not surprisingly, as AI is rapidly integrated into seemingly everything, there has been an explosive increase in AI-related patent applications worldwide.

AI is a complex technical domain with many unique considerations for patenting. As a contributing member to the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) committee on emerging technologies and artificial intelligence, and recent speaker on AI topics at IPO’s 2023 annual meeting in Boston, Nick Transier was pleased be chosen to contribute to IPO’s second release of the “AI Patenting Handbook.”
