Newly Elected Hamilton County Democratic Chair Joins Dinsmore’s Commercial Litigation Team

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is expanding its national bench of litigators with the addition of Alex Linser, newly elected chair of the Hamilton County, Ohio Democratic Party. Alex brings deep experience in state law, election law and government affairs, strengthening the Firm’s ability to counsel clients through high-stakes regulatory, business and political challenges.

A respected civic leader and attorney, Alex has built his career on navigating local and state governments. His understanding of regulatory frameworks and political landscapes makes him a strategic asset for businesses, organizations and individuals.

As a lifelong Cincinnati resident, Alex has been involved in local politics for more than two decades and has spent 15 years practicing law, advising businesses, public entities and individuals on matters critical to economic development.  “Our community is poised for significant economic growth, and making bold moves requires people who know how to get big projects done,” Alex said. “Understanding how to navigate City Hall and county government is critical for businesses looking to drive meaningful change, and I’m excited to put my experience to work.”

Alex earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he was a Drury, Polly and Edwin Scholar and served as Executive Editor of the Freedom Center Journal. Outside of his legal practice, Alex is actively involved in the legislative committee of the Ohio Association of Election Officials and the communications committee of the National Association of Election Officials.
