Dr. Frank Woodside Named to Ohio Supreme Court Board

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Dr. Frank C. Woodside, III has been appointed to the Supreme Court of Ohio Board of Professional Conduct. Dr. Woodside will serve a three-year term that expires December 31, 2018.
The Board of Professional Conduct is made up of 28-members: 17 lawyers, seven active or retired judges, and four non-lawyers. The Supreme Court of Ohio appoints the board to review formal complaints and to issue ethical opinions.
Dr. Woodside is an Of Counsel Attorney with Dinsmore and a nationally known trial attorney. His extensive litigation experience includes Fortune 500 companies, health care providers and hospitals. His experience includes serving as national trial counsel and MDL counsel for Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals in the Bendectin birth defect litigation; Procter & Gamble in the Rely tampon/toxic shock syndrome litigation and Denture Adhesive litigation; Dow Corning Corporation in the silicone gel breast implant litigation; and Rugby Laboratories in the Fen-Phen litigation.
