Dinsmore Receives Top Recommendation Rate from In-House Counsel
When unprompted and asked to recommend a law firm based on customer service, corporate attorneys said Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is one of the nation’s best, according to a recent report by BTI Consulting Group.
BTI today released the results of its Most Recommended Law Firms report, a data-driven ranking based on more than 350 in-depth telephone interviews with leading legal decision makers at large organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue. Dinsmore’s high recommendation rate earned it a spot in the rankings, which featured only 94 firms.
BTI, which does not accept submissions for the report, said its research indicated superior client service is consistently the leading driver of law firm recommendations by general counsel, accounting for nearly five times more recommendations than any other single factor. The components of superior service include: meeting client-targeted objectives even as they change and evolve; delivering higher values than expected; and bringing certainty in fees and deliverable, among other factors.
“We’re honored to be included on this list featuring some of the world’s top firms,” said George H. Vincent, chairman and managing partner. “We do not accept anything less than exemplary service to our clients large and small and believe this recognition is a testament to our attorneys practicing what we preach.”
A law firm’s recommendation rate, according to BTI’s research, is one of the most powerful indicators of growth potential and sustainable business development. More than half of corporate legal decision makers will hire a law firm based on a single, unprompted recommendation from a peer.
