Ashley Pack Joins Dinsmore Board of Directors as Firm Leadership Grows Younger, More Diverse

January 9, 2020

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is pleased to announce Ashley Pack has been elected to its 18-member board of directors, taking the Southern West Virginia seat upon the expiration of Partner Anna Dailey’s term. She will represent Dinsmore’s Charleston, Huntington and Lewisburg offices.

Pack is the office managing partner of Dinsmore’s Charleston office, a position in which she also succeeded Dailey in September of last year, making her the firm’s youngest woman to lead an office.

“I have Anna to thank for her leadership and mentoring,” Pack said. “She set a high bar. Her ability to grow her already significant law practice, while managing the day-to-day operations of our office and representing Dinsmore as our community and business leader is nothing less than remarkable.”

Pack’s addition to the board is one of several changes to firm leadership, which has become significantly younger and more diverse in 2020. Pack is also joined by new board members Greg Kaskey in Dayton, Ohio, Donna Perry in Louisville, Kentucky, and new Labor & Employment Department Chair Allison Goico.

For Pack, who started her career in Dinsmore’s Louisville office immediately after law school 19 years ago, this is an opportunity to help grow the firm’s presence in West Virginia and to represent Dinsmore’s new generation of visionary leaders.

“Our governing body has to represent everyone in the firm, not just our lawyers, but everyone who makes up our Dinsmore team,” Pack said. “I’m honored and excited to play a role in helping position Dinsmore for the future. I am energized to work with the board to ensure that Dinsmore continues to represent the values of our clients and our colleagues so we all can be proud for decades to come.”

She also sees it as a chance to make a cultural impact at Dinsmore, whose nearly 700 attorneys span from Boston to California.

“This is a great firm, and we have to be flexible and forward-thinking to foster a culture where everyone has an opportunity to grow professionally and personally, and to deliver the very best quality service for our clients,” Pack said. “I know I have big shoes to fill, but I’m up for the challenge.”
