Biography
Mitchell’s practice covers all areas of labor and employment litigation including jury trials. He regularly handles claims at the federal and state level on behalf of his clients, including claims alleging discrimination, harassment and retaliation under the Florida Civil Rights Act, Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, plus individual and collective action overtime claims brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Mitchell has represented clients in employment law matters and lawsuits on a nationwide basis, including in Massachusetts, California, Washington, Georgia, New York, Minnesota and Tennessee in particular.
Mitchell also advises and trains employers on legal and practical issues associated with workplace investigations, employee discipline, accommodations and medical leave matters associated with all federal and state laws.
