New Dinsmore Partner Chris Azzara Explains Why He Joined Firm in Pittsburgh
Dinsmore partner Christopher Azzara recently spoke with Law360 for an article about how joining the firm’s Pittsburgh office has enabled him to expand his practice. He shared how Dinsmore’s growth within his practice areas compelled him to become part of the firm. An excerpt is below.
He had several conversations with Dinsmore's Pittsburgh leadership, but the timing for the move was not right until now.
"I worked with a lot of people at Dinsmore in different deals and transactions," Azzara said. "I've watched the firm and its growth over the past few years. They made some acquisitions and moves that bolstered the practice areas I am in. That growth and momentum intrigued me, and Dinsmore has a larger reach outside Pittsburgh."

Azzara is certified as a creditor's rights specialist by the American Board of Certification, one of the five attorneys in Pennsylvania to earn the title. The certification allows Azzara to more fully serve his banking clients on their investments and transactions and help them protect their portfolios.
"I've become a one-stop shop for many of my clients," Azzara said. "By having all their needs covered, I can keep growing those relationships. I can better advise them on any pitfalls or potholes they may run into on a transaction, especially if they are looking at something with tunnel vision. It's more helpful than bringing in another attorney who may not see the whole picture."
