Biography
Matthew focuses his practice on litigation matters. His represents a variety of clients from municipalities to individuals to major corporations in complex civil litigation, including but not limited to: state and local tax, contract disputes, employment disputes, workers compensation, data breach class actions, and consumer protection class actions. Previously, Matthew represented the North Carolina Department of Revenue in complex tax litigation involving all tax schedules administered by the Department. He received his J.D. from University of North Carolina School of Law.
