Dinsmore & Shohl LLP insurance and litigation partner Jennifer Mason was interviewed by the Register-Herald about her initiative to help at-risk people during COVID-19 in her native West Virginia.

“She (Mason) realized that, while at-risk individuals (seniors, people with disabilities and those whose immune systems are compromised) were being told their health depended on not venturing outside their homes, many of those people don’t have that luxury. Food supplies have to be replenished, prescriptions have to be filled, and delivery services in rural Greenbrier County are scarce.”

Mason, who’s a native of Alderson, West Virginia piloted the program at the end of March. Working through donations, the program pays local restaurants for meals that are delivered to more than 300 at-risk residents in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.
