Dinsmore Strengthens National Labor and Employment Team with Two Additions in Colorado

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP has deepened the Firm’s labor and employment bench in Denver with the addition of partner Colin Barnacle, who has more than 20 years of experience working in a variety of legal environments.

Colin’s background includes serving as in-house counsel to large, publicly traded companies and running his own boutique firm, where he built a reputation for helping clients understand a pathway to favorable outcomes while mitigating risks. His extensive in-house experience provides valuable insights to Dinsmore attorneys and clients nationwide.

Colin’s expertise includes compliance counseling, workplace investigations, non-compete and trade secret enforcement and employment litigation. He also brings experience in commercial litigation across state and federal courts, handling matters such as contract disputes, construction litigation, complex commercial issues and arbitration.

Associate of Counsel Jay Cranmer also recently joined the labor and employment team in Denver, underscoring Dinsmore’s commitment to expand its service offerings and value to clients in the Mountain region.

Colin graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, and earned his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Jay graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in economics, and earned his J.D. from the University of Denver.
