Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Michele Choe, a respected employment litigation and trial lawyer, as a new partner in the Firm's Denver office. In addition to courtroom victories involving high-profile cases and favorable defense jury verdicts for sophisticated clients, Michele has been recognized annually by 5280 Magazine, Best Lawyers and Colorado Super Lawyers, including being named a Top 50 Women lawyer in Colorado.

Dinsmore’s Denver office has become a trusted legal partner to corporate, public finance and commercial and construction litigation clients looking for practical business solutions at competitive rates. Michele's extensive experience defending clients across multiple industries and handling lawsuits involving complex employment and professional liability claims nationwide, further strengthens the Firm’s service capabilities.

"While I dedicate much of my practice to the healthcare industry, my clientele in employment law is diverse," Michele said. "From healthcare and related sectors to construction, Fortune 50 logistics firms, tech enterprises, real estate and associated industries, I've had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients on their discrimination claims, non-competes, trade secret matters and defense of wrongful termination claims."

With the addition of Michele’s dedicated labor and employment expertise in Denver, Dinsmore continues to broaden its national reach beyond its Midwest roots. These capabilities are frequently getting noticed by marquee clients. “We are thrilled to welcome Michele to our dynamic team of legal professionals,” said Michael Paul, Denver’s office managing partner. “Her wealth of experience and demonstrated leadership will be invaluable assets as we continue to serve our clients with the highest standards of excellence.”

With past roles as a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Chair and President of the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, Michele deeply appreciates the importance of diverse and sophisticated representation within the legal profession. She says she was drawn to Dinsmore after seeing “the incredible talent within the employment practice and the number of women advancing” to leadership positions at the Firm including the executive board, and leading offices and practices.

After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications from California State University, Fullerton, Michele obtained her Masters in Communication Studies at the University of Iowa. She earned a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Iowa College of Law, graduating with distinction and having served as the Articles Editor for the Iowa Law Review. From 2004-2005, Michele clerked for the Hon. Donald P. Lay, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
