Julia G. Schroeder

Biography

Julia focuses her practice on trademark prosecution, both domestically and internationally, helping clients in a wide range of industries protect and enforce their brands. She guides businesses of all sizes—from startups to Fortune 100 companies—through every stage of the trademark process, from clearance searches and application filings to handling office actions and post-registration maintenance. Julia also assists clients with copyright matters and enjoys opportunities to be involved in trademark disputes and litigation.

Clients appreciate Julia’s collegial style and responsiveness. Her patient and individuated approach to client relationships ensures that the businesses she represents feel supported and fully informed throughout the prosecution process, whether they are familiar with intellectual property law or new to the process. Julia takes time to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and practical way, and tailors her guidance to meet each client’s preferred level of involvement and forward-looking business goals.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys exploring new restaurants in the capital city, spending time with her corgi, and traveling, as she has visited 29 countries and counting. An experienced skier, Julia also looks forward to hitting the slopes each winter.
