Biography
Joe has more than a decade of experience focused on commercial litigation, including defending clients in mass tort, consumer financial, wrongful death, and personal injury cases in state and federal courts, including Ohio. He has defended banks, creditors, debt collectors, and others in hundreds of cases brought under state and federal consumer protection statutes, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). His experience also includes defending major manufacturers in two of the largest product liability MDLs in history. He has also represented regional, national, and global clients in a variety of high-stakes cases, including litigation involving civil RICO claims, trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, tortious interference, breach of contract, and breach of restrictive covenants. Joe also has substantial appellate experience, having briefed or argued several cases on behalf of clients in state and federal appellate courts.
