Joelle M. Juárez

Biography

Joelle focuses her practice on labor and employment law, where she advises public and private businesses on all aspects of employer-employee relationships. She has developed significant experience counseling organizations on employment compliance, including drafting and maintaining employment policies and providing strategic guidance on workplace matters. Employers also rely on Joelle to represent them in disputes and litigation matters, and to provide proactive counsel to helping client mitigate their potential exposure to employment litigation through day-to-day counseling.

Starting with her foundational experiences as a summer associate with Michael Best, Joelle has looked for opportunities to develop her skills as an attorney. Among these were externships with diverse, prominent agencies and courts, including roles at the Office of EEOC under Chair Charlotte Burrows; the Northern District Court of Illinois under Judge Franklin Valderrama; and the Illinois Appellate Court under Judge Jesse Reyes. These experiences have informed her ability to help clients understand and navigate even the most complex employment issues.
