Biography
Joel provides advice to clients who have questions in a variety of areas, including financial instruments, business sales and acquisitions, and the sale of distress debt. His practice also includes representing creditors in state court collection matters including mortgage foreclosure actions, and the areas of Chapters 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcies, out of court corporate reorganizations and debt restructurings, and commercial collections. In addition, Joel has represented the legal representative of future claimants in several major asbestos bankruptcy proceedings. He has been involved in many of the major bankruptcy cases filed in Pittsburgh, as well as other major cases filed in New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
