Biography
Jeff is an intellectual property and technology attorney, concentrating his practice on domestic and international patent prosecution and portfolio management. His patent practice encompasses innovations in the electrical, computer, and software arts related to various technical areas including wireless communications, microprocessor architectures, semiconductor devices, optical devices, electronic circuit designs, network management software systems, electro-mechanical devices, and medical device technologies. Complementing his extensive domestic patent prosecution experience, Jeff possesses a comprehensive understanding of the procedures for procuring international patents and the patent laws of many foreign countries. He also provides strategic counsel and opinions to clients on issues involving patentability, patent infringement and validity, freedom-to-operate, patent asset due diligence, licensing intellectual property rights, as well as regulatory and technology-focused contractual matters.
Before practicing law, Jeff held engineering and senior leadership positions with several cable and telecommunications companies, including Comcast, AT&T, and Cincinnati Bell. Applying his business and technical acumen, Jeff provides valuable insight and counsel to clients to maximize the value of their intellectual property assets and achieve their strategic business goals.
