Biography
Jay is a seasoned attorney with more than two decades of legal experience who focuses his practice on employment and labor law. From national corporations to local businesses, Jay works with a range of clients, and tailors his approach on a case-by-case basis to best meet each client’s needs.
Jay’s extensive legal background includes a long history of successful litigation, including first-chairing more than 80 jury trial and countless evidentiary hearings. This background has provided Jay with the ability to provide clients with the guidance necessary to navigate difficult litigation, but also the ability to breakdown complex issues into understandable and straight forward business oriented solutions.
Clients benefit from Jay’s broad legal background and experience with multiple areas of law, including criminal, corporate, and domestic law. He also serves as a part-time municipal court judge in Moffat County, Colorado. This diversity of experience continues to shape Jay’s well-rounded perspective, and informs the practical, strategic insights he provides his clients.
In his free time, Jay is an active outdoorsman, and enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with his ever-present lab, Lucy and cheering for his Kansas Jayhawks and Denver Broncos.
