Biography
Jason's practice focuses on providing consultative strategic and legal advice to privately held businesses in all phases of the business cycle. When advising business owners he draws on his previous wealth management experience about the best ways to achieve desired exit and transition objectives while delivering growth and business continuity advice.
As a corporate attorney, Jason serves as general counsel to small closely-held businesses, advising clients on formation, real estate, tax and risk management matters. He negotiates and drafts contracts, shareholder agreements, employment contracts and terms and conditions. Jason also works as a transactional attorney, performing comprehensive due diligence and advising business owners on mergers, acquisitions and restructurers.
Before joining the firm, he worked at Waldron Private Wealth, where he managed complex financial, estate and tax issues for privately wealthy individuals and business owners. His primary focus was on developing custom solutions for business-owner clients to achieve financial, retirement and lifestyle goals through business, estate and tax planning. This experience gives Jason a unique perspective on growth and exit planning and an understanding of the necessity for a team-oriented approach to advisory services. He makes this understanding a part of his practice by learning about and prioritizing his clients’ personal, family and financial goals.
