Jameson L. Gay

Biography

Jameson’s practice focuses on corporate and transactional matters. He advises clients on a number of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, outside general counsel services, corporate governance, contractual drafting and negotiations, tax-free restructuring and reorganizations, and succession and exit planning. In addition, he provides personal services to business owners through individual tax planning, estate and gift tax planning, and asset protection planning.

Drawing on his for-profit corporate and tax experience, he assists non-profits by counseling clients through the complexities of charitable organization, tax exemption applications, and state regulatory registrations.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he previously served as a naval flight officer and mission commander on the P3-C Orion before working as a senior executive assistant at the Pentagon. He received his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law.
