During the contract performance period, our attorneys interpret contract clauses, including flow-down clauses, address intellectual property rights and leasing concerns, novation agreements and change order negotiations, affirmative action requirements, and international contracting issues, including compliance with the Buy American Act. We also frequently address contractor’s concerns about DCAA compliance audits, ethics requirements, suspension and debarment actions and terminations for convenience and default, Whistle-Blower false claims actions, and fraud allegations.
In the disputes phase of the procurement process, we prepare and present requests for equitable adjustments and claims and disputes to the various procurement agencies and to the Contract Appeals Boards, the Court of Federal Claims, and various federal and state courts, as well as through the process of arbitration and mediation.
