Gene Baldonado

Biography

Gene is an attorney-of-counsel in Dinsmore's Houston office. He has extensive civil litigation experience defending first-party insurance claims of breach of contract, common law and statutory bad faith, Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act violations, and fraud. His practice areas also include insurance coverage matters and litigating third-party claims involving personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, premises liability, construction defect, and professional liability. Gene has also represented clients in business formation, contract disputes and negotiations, estate planning, and probate cases.

Before moving to Houston, Gene lived his formative years in Manila, Philippines. He then spent a decade in Houston working in accounting and financial roles within the energy and insurance industries prior to practicing law.

Gene's broad professional and personal experience has provided him a large base in which he draws from in order to deliver intelligent, comprehensive, and effective legal representation and advice to his clients.
