Biography
Fuxing (pr: Fuː·sing) (Amber) is an associate specializing in corporate law, with a strong focus on venture capital financings and data privacy. She assists a wide variety of startup and emerging growth companies spanning various industries, including consumer products and services, technology, software-as-a-service (SaaS), fintech, and AI throughout their entire lifecycle, from corporate formation, entity restructuring, and fundraising activities to exit.
Amber has extensive experience in preparing and negotiating financing agreements, such as term sheets, Simple Agreements for Future Equity (SAFEs), promissory convertible notes, stock purchase agreements, and cap tables for startups seeking early-stage funding. Her expertise also extends to technology and services-related agreements addressing data privacy, cybersecurity, manufacturing, supply, and compliance issues. She also demonstrates proficiency in assisting clients with international transactions and is fluent in both Mandarin and English. She received her LL.B from China University of Political Science and Law and J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
