Dinsmore Promotes 15 Attorneys to Partner, Makes New Appointments to Board of Directors

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is pleased to announce that 15 attorneys were elected to partnership effective Jan. 1, 2021.

“I’m excited that these 15 impressive attorneys are proceeding to the next level of their careers here at Dinsmore, and I’m anxious to see what they’ll accomplish as partners,” said Dinsmore Chairman and Managing Partner George Vincent.

Many of the country’s leading corporations are increasingly reliant on Dinsmore to help build their businesses. This is fueling opportunities and the necessity for these partner promotions and the firm’s national expansion. Dinsmore’s partnership grew by nearly 25 percent over the course of 2020. It now stands at 381 partners across the country, including the 30 who joined the firm on Jan. 1 via merger with Wooden McLaughlin, which added three Indiana offices to Dinsmore’s national footprint.

In addition to the 15 new partners, Employment Practice Group Chair Faith Whittaker and Government Relations Practice Group Chair Jill Rice joined Dinsmore’s board of directors on Jan. 1. Rice was recently selected as the 2020 recipient of the DRI Kevin Driskill Outstanding State Representative Award, while Whittaker is a highly regarded thought leader in employment law, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, during which she has established herself as an authority on employer responses to the coronavirus.
