Dinsmore Partners Honored as Top Female Attorneys in Kentucky

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP’s Barbara Edelman, Donna King Perry and Kathryn Quesenberry have been recognized as three of Kentucky’s best female attorneys in their respective fields. All three were listed in the “Top 25: 2018 Women Kentucky Super Lawyers®” rankings, which are compiled by Thomson Reuters and based on peer recommendations and professional experience.

Edelman, listed as a “Top Rated Business Litigation Attorney in Lexington,” is a member of Dinsmore’s board of directors and executive committee. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation and business disputes, including fiduciary duty claims, lender liability, fraud and negligent misrepresentation. She has tried more than 50 jury trials in state and federal courts and handled more than 30 appeals.

Perry was named a “Top Rated Employment & Labor Attorney in Louisville.” Her practice includes all aspects of pre-litigation investigation, evidence and witness preparation, and trial and appellate work. She has tried many cases, including three to defense verdicts in the past two years. Perry has also arbitrated numerous matters and presented cases before the National Labor Relations Board. She provides executive coaching, training to management and human resources personnel, and is a regular speaker at continuing legal education seminars.

Quesenberry was also named “Top Rated Employment & Labor Attorney in Louisville” and has tried nearly 20 cases to jury verdict. Her practice includes defense of employment lawsuits involving claims of wrongful discharge, discrimination, breach of contract and other matters. She develops training for managers and human resources professionals on hiring, firing, FMLA, wage and hour laws, and employment-related topics.
