May 15, 2015News Releases
The Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) honored Dinsmore & Shohl as Deal Maker of the Year at the 16th Annual ACG Cincinnati Deal Maker Awards Program on May 13, 2015.

The Deal Makers Program recognizes outstanding companies and individuals with proven track records of leadership, innovation and success through the art of the deal. There are three award categories: corporate, entrepreneur and financier/service provider. Corporate focuses on companies that have grown through mergers and acquisitions within the last 18 to 24 months.

“Dinsmore & Shohl completed two mergers with smaller law firms in the last year. It’s also clear, looking at Dinsmore’s mergers and acquisitions over the past decade, that the firm demonstrates the values we set out to honor with the Deal Maker of the Year Award,” said Marcie Taylor, ACG Cincinnati’s Chapter Executive. “The award was well deserved, and we look forward to what Dinsmore does in the coming years.” she added.

“It is an honor to be recognized by the ACG for our commitment to growth. Evolving to serve our clients’ needs means expanding both the services we offer and our national footprint. Strategic growth is a focus, and we have found success merging with other law firms that complement our services and strengths,” said George H. Vincent, Dinsmore’s Managing Partner and Chairman.

Dinsmore was a finalist in the corporate category for small companies and was nominated by Clark Schaefer Hackett. Vincent also took part in the program to honor his client and friend, Bob Castellini, who received the ACG’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
