Biography
Chip focuses his practice on general litigation, eminent domain and land use, deceptive trade practices and unfair competition, and open government. Born and raised in Orlando, his legal experience includes serving as a federal judicial clerk for the Middle District of Florida in his hometown. He also specializes in open-source research.
Like his parents, Chip is a Buckeye and a Gator, so he is no stranger to resolving conflicts. He received his JD from The Ohio State University's Moritz College of Law, graduating summa cum laude and serving on law review. He interned with the U.S. Attorney's Office and the Honorable Edmund Sargus in the Southern District of Ohio. Prior to becoming a lawyer, he worked as an assignment editor and investigative producer at local TV stations in Florida, the longest at WFTV in Orlando. Most notably, he was a member of the Emmy-award-winning team that produced the station's breaking news coverage of the Pulse Nightclub Shooting.
