Brent focuses his practice on commercial litigation. For nearly a decade, Brent has worked closely with companies and individuals, guiding them through business and contract disputes, shareholder and corporate governance matters, and copyright infringement matters. Brent also assists his clients in vigorously protecting and defending their trade secrets, confidential information, as well as enforcing their non-solicitation and non-compete agreements.

Brent has a keen ability to assess and manage the intricate legal needs of companies and work collaboratively with their teams to devise and execute effective legal strategies. He has represented a diverse range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies and institutional clients to small businesses and individuals, in high-stakes litigation. From pre-litigation strategy and investigation, to brokering the efficient settlement of disputes, to taking matters to trial, Brent provides his clients with timely advice and helps them navigate all aspects of the litigation process.

Outside of his legal career, he enjoys spending time with his German shepherd, Izzy, cheering on Iowa Hawkeyes football, and kayak fishing.
