Biography
Brandon sits within Dinsmore’s Business Restructuring practice group, where he focuses on representing institutional interests in bankruptcy proceedings and commercial litigation. Most notable is Brandon’s experience counseling clients in business reorganizations, including contested confirmation hearings. Prior to joining Dinsmore, Brandon worked for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois as a law clerk for Judge Thomas M. Lynch and Judge Donald R. Cassling. In between these clerkships, Brandon served as a staff attorney for the same court.
Dedicated to best learning his practice, Brandon gained hands-on bankruptcy experience as a law student at the University of Minnesota by interning for a bankruptcy judge in St. Paul and the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee in Minneapolis. He also completed multiple insolvency-related courses and represented consumer debtors as a student attorney for the university’s bankruptcy clinic.
