Lovee Sarenas Begins Term as President of Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum
Dinsmore Los Angeles-based partner, Lovee Sarenas, recently began her term as president of the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum (LABF). Formed in 1952, the LA Bankruptcy Forum, is one of the oldest and largest local organizations of bankruptcy professionals in Southern California. The organization provides educational programming and networking opportunities for the advancement of the bankruptcy profession in the Central District of California.
Lovee is one of the founders of LABF’s Hon. Richard M. Neiter Summer Externship and Fellowship Fund. The fund aims to increase diversity in the bankruptcy profession and provide financial assistance to law students from underrepresented backgrounds who work as full-time summer externs for bankruptcy judges.
Her service in the community goes beyond her work at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Lovee’s contributions include roles with various nonprofits in addition to task forces organized by the federal judiciary relating to bankruptcy procedures. She is a member of the adjunct faculty at both Southwestern Law School and USC’s Gould School of Law.
Dinsmore is committed to servant leadership among the many communities in which we operate. We are proud to have Lovee within our ranks and wish her the best of luck throughout her year-long term.
