Biography
Ankur has extensive experience counseling clients in a variety of industries on the best ways to protect their IP, including managing their patent portfolios. As an engineer with a background in computer engineering, he is particularly interested in studying and learning about technologies, and working with innovators to capitalize on their work. He works with start-ups and existing companies focused on wireless communications, software, virtualization, cloud computing, medical devices, 3D printing, wireless charging, power management integrated circuits, and other areas, and these clients depend on his guidance concerning the best ways to increase revenue and grow their businesses.
His experience includes preparing and prosecuting patent applications, freedom to operate analysis, grant reviews, infringement and validity opinions, and providing other crucial IP analysis. Prior to joining Dinsmore Ankur worked as an in-house IP attorney at a large telecommunications company, and he regularly leverages the knowledge gained from that experience to craft detailed, specific plans that enable clients to meet their short- and long-term business goals.
