Biography
Andrew leverages his background in materials science to help clients acquire patent protection for a broad range of technologies, including those related to ceramics, metals, and characterization systems.
Andrew earned his Ph.D. in Materials from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he designed and fabricated protective barrier coating materials for gas turbine engines. He also completed a postdoctoral research position at Northwestern University, where he developed novel forms of mechanically robust shape memory ceramics for actuating and mechanical damping technologies.
His specialties include powder processing, electron microscopy, computational thermodynamics, and finite element simulations.
