As a member of the firm’s Business, Acquisitions, and Securities group, Alex counsels businesses regarding corporate and transactional matters. His practice focuses on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and facilitating commercial transactions. He also drafts and negotiates a variety of commercial contracts across industries where he draws on his prior experience as a litigator to identify and preempt potential issues.

Alex's legal background also includes experience in the equine industry, which comes naturally as a native Lexingtonian. He is a Kentucky Colonel and received his JD from Vanderbilt University.
