Biography
Alex has more than two decades in the practice of patent law, focusing his efforts on patent prosecution, patent opinions, inter partes proceedings, and trademark and copyright procurement. His experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications representing clients in a wide variety of product areas as diverse as aircraft engines, tactical military equipment, firearms, vibratory conveyor equipment, automotive component manufacturers, concrete leveling and finishing machines, electrical and mechanical medical devices, electrical circuitry and control systems, and software. Alex also counsels clients in licensing, litigation, and transactional matters.
Prior to practicing law, Alex worked as an electrical engineer at General Electric Aircraft Engines, and for Procter & Gamble. In those roles he designed, programmed, and installed systems for process control and automation in large industrial facilities.
